*direct front mount derailleur doesn’t clamp around the seat tube. it is designed to bolt right to a SHIMANO-type direct mount on the frame. (also there are direct-mount adaptors available on-line that will work – unfortunately, we don’t have them for sale).

please note: derailleurs were removed from brand new, never used, high-end MARIN mountain bike. it isn’t likely, but there may be some small scuffs in the finish due to having been removed. please see photos for an example of one of the scuffs we were able to find.
