The 2013 SRAM Red Ergo Dynamics, Double Tap shifter/brake lever uses a redesigned body with smaller circumference for better ergonomics. The hoods are checkered for enhanced grip, a boon for riders wearing heavy gloves such as winter cyclocross racers. The shifter paddles are slightly larger and the brake lever itself is longer. An advantage of previous SRAM Double Tap shifters is their adjustable reach – you could adjust the brake lever and shifter paddle closer to the drop handlebars for smaller hands.
The addition of the YAW R2C transforms SRAM’s RED road group into the perfect aerodynamic weapon. The YAW R2C (Return to Center) also mates perfectly with SRAM’s Exact Actuation technology, providing fast, consistent and new light action shifting throughout the entire gear range. No trim shifting is faster, and provides a more aero and comfortable hand position.
SRAM’s XX1 group undoubtedly changed the face of mountain biking, perhaps forever. The narrow-wide chainring, combined with an astonishing redesign of the rear derailleur’s parallelogram, meant that single-ring drivetrains were no longer the chain-drop-prone hack jobs they once were. The XX1 Shifter is the power center for the group, and employs the X-Actuation cable pull ratio that makes all SRAM one-by derailleurs move. The shifter is MatchMaker compatible, meaning you can mount it to the same clamp as your brakes or suspension lockouts, freeing up space on your bars and making your cockpit quite tidy.

please note: derailleurs were removed from brand new, never used, high-end MARIN mountain bike. it isn’t likely, but there may be some small scuffs in the finish due to having been removed. please see photos for an example of one of the scuffs we were able to find.
